- To provide information that will help us make environmentally smart decisions for the future

A History
Our family looks for good sense, and therefore good value, in anything we buy or keep. We come from a long line of hard workers and thrifty homemakers, ancestors who often “made do”. We learned their lessons. In our homes, you will always see old items put to new work, previously owned items enjoying a continuing usefulness, and new items that are designed to ease rather than burden our environment.
As a family, over the course of nearly 50 years, we bought, sold, and traded among ourselves to build an impressive inventory of unusual, beautiful, and useful items from the past and present.
We started Sally’s Trove Antiques and Collectibles early in 2007 by opening a small brick and mortar store and launching an eBay business where we offered items from our own family collections.
In 2008, we decided to broaden our offerings to include new and used items that not only are unusual, beautiful, and useful, but also make good sense in a crowded and shrinking world.

Our goal here is to share what we learned over the years about bringing new life to old things and how we go about acquiring new items and practices that make environmental sense. You can lock this trove and keep it to yourself, or you can tilt the lid back and share, giving and receiving as you go.
About Our Banner Graphics
In our goal to give new life to old things, we created this banner from a Russian lacquer bowl that we acquired in the late 1970s. This lovely bowl has since found a new home with one of our eBay customers. But before we let it go, we took many photographs. Its new life is celebrated in our banner.
